Simple to Prepare

Taste Adventure Red Bean Chili Pour the dried ingredients into a sauce pan, add two cups of water, boil, simmer, and (ten minutes later) eat.

The Chili's are mostly precooked lentils or beans, plus textured soy flour, tomatoes, chili and bell peppers, herbs, and spices. And they are nutrient-packed.

Nutrition Information Per Serving

Each one-cup serving of the Red Bean Chili, Black Bean Chili and the 5 Bean Chili contains 240 calories, 1-1/2 grams of fat (none saturated), an incredible 11 to 18 grams of fiber, 17 to 19 grams of protein, 30 percent of a day's iron, and at least 40 percent of a day's vitamin A and vitamin C with 480 to 500 milligrams sodium per serving.

The Lentil Chili (one-cup serving) contains 230 calories, 1 gram of fat (no saturated), no cholesterol, 500 milligrams of sodium and 40 grams of carbohydrates.

Each serving uses 3/4 cup of the dry mix. Each container contains about two servings.
