Previously, Haagen Dazs translated into really good, fat-laden ice cream. But now there is the slimmed-down Haagen Dazs Light. What's "lost" is half the fat.

What that means in terms of calories varies with each flavor. The label on Cherry Fudge Truffle notes that it contains 50-percent less fat and 14-percent fewer calories than regular super-premium ice cream. A 1/2-cup serving of that flavor contains 230 calories and 7 grams of fat.

There are seven flavors:

  1. Vanilla Bean
  2. Dutch Chocolate
  3. Coffee
  4. Dulce de Leche
  5. Mint Chip
  6. S'Mores
  7. Cherry Fudge Chocolate
