Just Green Tea Honest Tea

Honest Tea became the first company to offer an organic bottled tea with First Nation Peppermint in 1999, and the first to offer a Fair Trade Certified tea with Peach Oo-la-long in 2003. Now the company continues its role as an innovator, by offering Just Black Tea and Just Green Tea, the first organic Fair Trade Certified unsweetened teas on the market.

Honest Tea added Green Dragon and Honest Tea Peach White Tea Fair Trade Certified Usda Organic to its line of all-natural, low-sugar or unsweetened green, black and herbal teas, most of them brewed from organic ingredients. In March and April of 2007, Honest Tea introduced two notable breakthrough products that deliver great taste but without all the calories, sugar and artificial additives of other drinks.

Antioxidant Power

Honest Tea Just Green : Just Green Tea is completely organic. All you will taste is green tea in its purest form and flavor, while you reap the benefits of its antioxidant power. This tea is Fair Trade Certified. Great tasting, socially responsible and sustainable. What more could you want?

Bottled Tea: Honest Tea, Pomegranate White Tea with Acai is packed with antioxidants. This refreshing organic brew is full of antioxidants from white tea and Brazilian acai. It's light, too at just 40 calories per serving, or 85 if you drink the whole bottle. Plus it has about one-eighth of the caffeine in a cup of coffee - a little pick-me-up without the jitters.

Organic Peach White Flavor (Organic, bottled). This tasty tea is made with antioxidant-rich organic white tea (least processed of all teas), organic peach puree and cane sugar. Each bottle has 150 milligrams of the antioxidant ECGC and only 85 calories. The flavor? Just sweet enough.

Notable Note on White Tea

White Tea and Obesity Possible anti-obesity effects of white tea have been demonstrated in a series of experiments on human fat cells (adipocytes). Researchers writing in BioMed Central's open access journal Nutrition and Metabolism have shown that an extract of the herbal brew effectively inhibits the generation of new adipocytes and stimulates fat mobilization from mature fat cells. White tea is made from the buds and first leaves of the plant used to make green tea and the black tea most commonly drunk in Western countries. It is less processed than the other teas and contains more of the ingredients thought to be active on human cells. Source: BioMed Central Limited
