O Heavenly Father,
We thank thee for food, and remember the hungry,
We thank thee for health, and remember the sick,
We thank thee for friends, and remember the friendless,
We thank thee for freedom, and remember the enslaved,
May these remembrances stir us to service,
That thy gifts to us may be used for others, Amen.

Table Grace for Old Friends
We thank you, Lord, for bringing our friends to our table tonight. We haven't been together for such a long time and there's so much to catch up on. We'll be talking way past midnight. But, Lord, before we dig into each other's lives, give us Your blessing through this beautiful meal before us. Let us be aware of Your presence here among us and let us feel Your hand in ours as we offer You our prayers and thanksgiving. Amen.

"Hello, Lord. Thank you for allowing us to come together to eat a wonderful meal, made from loving hands and hearts of the people here today. Lord, you know some in our family can't boil water and don't know the difference between grilled and burned, but their help has not gone unnoticed. They've run to the store for that 'vital missing ingredient' and have kept the little ones out of the kitchen. Today, we'd like to give you the praise and let you know it's our honor to be called your children. And for me, it's an honor to be a part of this family. Thank you, Amen." - Lynita (Stubby) Tate
