Funnel Cake (aka Fry Cake)
This airy treat can actually be quite fattening. The oil used to fry them, along with the powdered sugar they are dusted with, can run 800 to 1000 calories per piece. If you cannot resist one, share it with someone.

Cotton Candy (aka Candy Floss)
Cotton candy is even lighter than a Funnel Cake but nutritionally they rank a zero. Calorie-wise they do not sound too bad coming in at only 120 calories per wand. The problem is, that 120 calories is pure sugar. Tear off a small piece for a treat and pass it around!

Ice Cream
Treat yourself by choosing the smallest size of soft-serve ice cream. A kiddie cone, which is only 2 to 3 ounces will only give you 150 calories with the addition of calcium making this one of the least of the festival busters.

Candy Apple
An average size candy apple packs in 250 calories and at least half of those calories come from the candy coating. Remember, an average apple is only around 80 to 100 calories. You do get the apple in there; always a good-for-you eat, so again, this isn't the worst choice you could make.

Snow Cones
The flavored syrup in snow cones packs in twice the calories of cotton candy, and they're all sugar. Try an icy lemonade or iced water instead.
