Quaker Oatmeal Crunch

Quaker Oatmeal Crunch gets its crunch from a packet of crunchy bits that you sprinkle on top of the oatmeal. The problem is, within a minute or two after sprinkling the bits onto the oatmeal, they begin to sink into the warm oats and get soft and mushy.

In addition, when compared to regular instant oatmeal, this jazzed-up version contains an additional 30 calories and one-half gram of extra saturated fat.

Stick with regular oatmeal. If you want to add a little crunch, try one-half tablespoon chopped nuts for a healthy kick.
