V-8 V Fusion and Vegetable Juice

The Veggies & Fruit You Need?

"V-8 V.Fusion juice makes it easy to get vegetable and fruit goodness YOU NEED TO THRIVE!"

"...an easy, delicious way to help you get the vegetable nutrition you need every day."

"Full serving vegetables, full serving fruits in every 8 ounce glass..."

Drinking V8 just isn't like eating vegetables.

If they contained servings of fruits and/or vegetables, there would/should be fiber. (None of the three flavors, Peach Mango, Pomegranate Blueberry, and Strawberry Banana, deliver any fiber.

The claimed "2 full servings of vegetables per 8 ounce glass" contains 480mg of sodium and most of the vitamins touted on the label of V8 Essential Antioxidants are added by Campbell.

There is also a "No Sugar Added" claim. The apple or white grape juice concentrate, which is the main ingredient in V8 Fusion's "reconstituted fruit juice blend" is just like consuming white sugar.

Reconstituting fruit juice generally means adding water back to the concentrated juice (diluting), as many companies just use the concentrated form of the juice for transportation and storage, while at the time of bottling the product it is "reconstituted".
