Alli is OTC relatively newly approved weight loss product (US, Canada and Europe). Alli is a watered down verision of two well know product common names are Xenical and Orlistat.
Alli works by attaching itself to enzymes in the body that break down fat so that it may be stored and used by the body. When the ingredients in Alli attach to this fat, it is too large to pass through the walls of the small intestine and therefore, is eliminated as waste instead of travelling to other parts of the body and being burnt or stored as fat. Alli does this with an amazing 25% percent of the fat intake that we get from our diet. If you ate 100 grams of fat in a meal then Alli would prohibit 25 grams from being absorbed by your body. You are not allowed to consume more than 15 grams of fat per meal as per Alli instructions.
IMPORTANT: Alli can only absorb 3.75 grams of fat per meal of the allowed 15 grams within the allowed meal. What happens if we consume more than the authorized 15 grams of fat?
- Bowel changes
- Gas with oily spotting
- Loose stools
- Violent uncontrollable bowel explosions
- Anal leakage
We highly recommend if you are going to use Alli that you adhere to the 15 grams rule.
Conclusion about Alli
Alli does perform exactly as it claims. It will reduce your body's fat intake by 25% of the 15 grams allowed per meal. Alli is also produced in a F.D.A. facility under strict standards. With this in mind, even with its guidelines users who are using Alli can suffer extremely embarrassing situations.
None of these are desired effects nor are they pleasant for you or anyone else close to you!
