Herbal Ice Cubes for an upset stomach. Peppermint and bitters are soothing and the ice cubes are easier to keep down than liquids.
1 cup water
1 peppermint tea bag
2 cups cranberry-apple juice
1 teaspoon angostura bitters
Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan. Add the ea bag, turn off the heat and let steep for 10 minutes.
Discard the tea bag. Let the tea cool for 5 minutes, then stir in the remaining ingredients. Transfer the mixture to an ice cube tray and place in the freezer until solidly frozen.
To use, suck or chew up to 3 ice cubes each hour or rub a little bit on your lips.
Caution: Call your doctor if upset stomach lasts more than 24 hours or if it's unusually severe.
