Apple Yogurt Dip

Ingredients:
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1//4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 medium apple

Directions:
Combine the yogurt, cinnamon and vanilla extract in a small bowl.

Core and slice apple to dip into mixture.

Makes 1 serving.

Bonus Recipe: Simple Fruit Dip

Ingredients:
24 ounces low-fat cottage cheese
1/3 cup reduced-fat sour cream or plain yogurt
1/4 cup fat-free milk
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions:
Place cottage cheese in food processor or blender. Process or blend until smooth. Add sour cream, milk, lemon juice, brown sugar and vanilla. Process until smooth. Adjust sugar and lemon juice as necessary to taste. This dip should be sweet and slightly tangy. Recipe makes about three cups.
