Basic Cappuccino Recipe

Healthy Beverage

Ingredients:
3 cups milk
3 cups freshly brewed espresso
Sugar to taste
Cinnamon (for dusting)

Directions:
With the steam-pipe of an espresso machine, steam the milk.

Pour the espresso into coffee cups.

Add the milk and sugar and dust the coffees with the cinnamon.

Recipe makes 6 servings of Basic Cappuccino.

Bonus Recipe: Chewy Snack Squares

Ingredients:
5 cups corn flakes
4 cups crisp rice cereal
1 cup salted peanuts
1 cup flaked coconut
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup half-and-half cream

Directions:
In a large bowl, combine cereals, peanuts and coconut; set aside. In a saucepan, combine corn syrup, sugar, butter and cream; cook and stir over medium heat until the mixture reaches soft ball stage (240-degrees), about 25 to 30 minutes. Pour over cereal mixture and toss to coat evenly. Pat into a greased 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan. Cool before cutting. Recipe makes 30 to 36 squares.
