Sparkling Peaches and Cream Recipe

Milk

Peaches are so tasty and are fat free, sodium free, cholesterol free, high in vitamin A and a good source of vitamin C.

Ingredients:
2-1/4 cups 2 percent milk
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 16-ounce package frozen unsweetened peach slices
1 12-ounce can lemon-lime carbonated beverage, chilled

Directions:

In a blender container, combine 2-percent milk, sugar and vanilla. Add half of the peaches. Cover; blend until smooth.

Add remaining peaches. Cover; blend until smooth.

Transfer to pitcher. Slowly pour in carbonated beverage. Stir gently. Serve immediately.

Recipe makes 6 (8-ounce) servings.

Nutritional facts: 117 cal., 4 g pro., 23 g carb., 2 g fat, 7 mg chol., 1 g dietary fiber, 52 mg sodium.
