Power Orange Smoothie

Orange Juice in Power Orange Smoothie

Power Orange Smoothie contains fat free milk with orange juice concentrate, powdered sugar and vanilla blended with ice cubes. Refreshing and delicious!

Ingredients

2 cups fat free or 1 percent low fat milk
One 6-ounce can frozen orange juice concentrate
1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 to 6 large ice cubes

Directions

In blender container, combine milk, orange juice concentrate, powdered sugar and vanilla. Cover and blend until smooth.

With the blender running, add ice cubes, 1 at a time, through opening in lid; blend until smooth and frothy.

Pour into tall glasses; serve immediately.

Nutrition Information

Recipe makes 4 servings (1 quart).

Variation: Orange Julius Smoothie

1 can (6 ounces) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
1 cup skim milk
1 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
10 to 12 ice cubes

In a blender, combine orange juice concentrate, milk, water, sugar and vanilla. Cover and blend until smooth. With blender running, add ice cubes, one at a time, through the opening in lid. Blend until smooth. Serve immediately. Recipe makes five servings.
