Strawberry Sunrise Breakfast Smoothie

A Strawberry Sunrise Breakfast Smoothie that is so simple but so healthful! Fat free or low fat milk blended with strawberries and yogurt.

Ingredients

1 cup fat free or lowfat milk
1/2 cup fresh strawberries
4 ounces lowfat plain yogurt

Directions

Fresh strawberries for Strawberry Sunrise Breakfast Smoothie Combine all ingredients in blender, and blend until very smooth.

Bonus Recipe: Quick-Start Fruit Smoothie

1 apple (skin on)*
1 banana
1 kiwifruit
8 to 10 strawberries
1 cup of orange juice
1 cup of cranberry juice (100 percent juice)
1 cup of non-fat plain yogurt

*Wash skin of apple thoroughly, then cut in quarters. Add half the ingredients to a blender and blend until fine. Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. Serve at your convenience. Keep unused portions refrigerated (may need to be blended again before serving). Recipe yield: Approximately 40 ounces (5, 1-cup servings).
