Peanut Butter and banana pair up in a creamy, delicious and very healthful friut and milk based smoothie.
We recommend fat free or low fat milk; however, if you aren't worried about the fat, regular milk is fine as is regular peanut butter, such as Skippy or Jif.
1 cup fat free or lowfat milk
1 teaspoon reduced fat all natural peanut butter
1 small banana, frozen or fresh
Combine all ingredients in blender, and blend until very smooth.

Bonus Recipe: Banana Smoothie
In a blender blend at high speed the bananas, the pineapple juice, the orange juice, the yogurt, and the honey until the mixture is smooth and frothy.
Divide the mixture among four chilled drink glasses. Recipe makes 4 smoothies.

Peanut Butter Banana Pops
4 ripe and firm bananas, peeled and cut into half crosswise
1-1/2 cup peanut butter mixed with 6 tablespoons yogurt
1 cup toppings such as chopped nuts, grated coconut, chocolate sprinkles, graham cracker crumbs, etc.
Insert stick into the cut end of each banana. Freeze bananas for 1 hour or until solid. Dip frozen bananas into peanut butter yogurt mix, coating all sides. Place toppings on a flat plate. Roll coated bananas over toppings. Lay bananas on baking sheet. Freeze for at least 30 minutes or until peanut butter yogurt coating is hardened. Serve. Makes 8 banana pops.
Peanut Butter Banana Milkshake: Blend 1 pint chocolate ice cream, 2 frozen bananas, 1/4 cup chocolate milk and 1/2 cup peanut butter.
Chocolate Banana Milkshake: Blend 1 pint chocolate ice cream, 2 frozen bananas and 1/4 cup chocolate milk.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Milkshake: Blend 1 pint low fat chocolate ice cream and 1/2 cup each peanut butter and reduced-fat milk. Top with chopped honey roasted peanuts.
Peanut Butter Cup Milkshake: Make hot fudge by microwaving 1/2 cup finely chopped bittersweet chocolate and 1/4 cup each cream and sweetened condensed milk, stirring frequently, until melted. Blend 1 pint vanilla ice cream, 1/4 cup milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla and a pinch of salt; layer in glasses with the hot fudge and chopped chocolate peanut butter cups.
Boozy Banana Milkshake: Blend 1 pint chocolate ice cream, 2 frozen bananas, 1/4 cup chocolate milk and 2 tablespoons rum.
