Papaya Shake Recipe

Papaya contains the digestive enzyme papain, which helps your body break down and digest proteins. It is also used to tenderize meat. And...papayas are fat free, very low in sodium, cholesterol free, a very good source of fiber, high in vitamin C, and a good source of folate.
Ingredients:
3/4 - 1 cup papaya in cubes
1 cup fat free or lowfat milk, cold
1 tablespoon low-calorie sugar or sugar substitute (optional)
2 ice cubes
Directions:
Put all ingredients in a mixer/blender. Mix until uniform and smooth. Ready to serve.
Recipe makes 1 serving, 8 ounces of milk per serving.
