Blueberry Banana Shake Recipe
All the tasty fruits in this beverage are sodium free, fat free, cholesterol free, high in fiber and other nutrients. Bananas have lots of potassium and can give flagging energy levels a boost. Blueberries are a nutritional powerhouse with health benefits including to ward off urinary tract infections, fight cancer, power your brain and even revive your skin!
Ingredients:
One banana cut into pieces
2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
1/4 cup honey
2 cups plain yogurt
Directions:
In a blender, blend the banana, the blueberries, the honey, and the yogurt until the mixture is smooth.
Chill the mixture for 1 hour.
Pour the mixture into chilled glasses. (Frozen blueberries result in slightly thicker shakes.)
