Oat-Chip Banana Bread

Directions:
In a mixing bowl, cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs whites or egg substitute, beat well. Add bananas; mix well. Combine flour, oats, baking soda, baking powder and salt; add to the creamed mixture, stirring just until moistened. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour into a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan sprayed with non stick cooking spray.
Bake at 350 degrees for 65 to 75 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool for 10 minutes; remove from pan to a wire rack. Yield: 1 loaf
