Beer Bread is a tasty bread that needs no yeast. Just flour, salt, beer, baking powder and honey.
3 cups flour
2-1/4 teaspoon salt
12 oz beer
3-3/4 teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon honey
Grease loaf pan. Mix flour, salt, baking powder.
Combine with beer and honey in large bowl. Stir together until well mixed.
Spread batter in pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until browned and a wooden pick comes out clean.
Turn bread out onto a cooling rack.
Note: Cool completely before slicing.
Recipe makes 1 9-inch loaf.
