Sugar 'n Spice Bagels Recipe
Healthy Breakfast Recipe
Add spice to sugar and sprinkle it on cream-cheese-topped bagels for a sweet breakfast treat.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon dried orange peel (optional)
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
4 bagels, split and toasted
1/3 cup strawberry, pineapple, or plain tub-style cream cheese
Directions:
In a shallow dish beat together the milk and eggs.
Combine sugar, cinnamon, orange peel, and nutmeg. Store in a tightly covered container.
Spread cut side of bagels with a thin layer of cream cheese. Sprinkle with some of the sugar and spice. Serve warm.
