Brown Bread 'n Spread Recipe
Healthy Breakfast Recipe
Cover toast with this spread and wrap it in a napkin: A tasty, one-handed, energy-packed breakfast on the fly.
Ingredients:
4 oz light cream cheese
1/2 cup dried dates, chopped
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
8 slices pumpernickel bread, toasted
Directions:
Process cream cheese, dates and cinnamon in food processor until dates are very finely chopped.
Spread about 2-1/2 tablespoons between 2 slices toast.
Repeat and serve.
