Butterless Layer Cake

Amazing tender for a butterless layer cake! This recipe uses powdered sugar, eggs, milk and flour with vanilla extract. Very yummy!

Ingredients

2 eggs
2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup milk
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Directions

Mix and sift well flour, salt and baking powder.

Beat egg yolks until thick. Gradually add and beat in sugar, and to this add the milk and flavoring.

Whip the whites of the eggs stiff and fold in, then add flour.

Bake 20 to 30 minutes (depending on layer size) in three layers in hot oven (375-400 degrees).
