A delicious chocolate cappuccino sauce flavored to top any of your favorites with - very good on frozen vanilla yogurt or low fat vanilla ice cream.
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
1 teaspoon instant espresso powder or instant coffee granules
Heat chocolate chips in heavy 2-quart saucepan over low heat.
Stir the chocolate chips frequently, until melted; remove from heat.
Stir in remaining ingredients until smooth.
Serve warm if desired.
Recipe makes 2 cups.
When well wrapped and stored in a cool, dry place, unsweetened chocolate will keep for several years.
