Applesauce Raisin Cookies Recipe
Healthy Cookie Recipe
Ingredients
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup honey
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup unbleached flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon cloves
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup raisins - dark or golden
Directions:
Mix the oil and honey together. Add the egg and beat
until light. Blend the vanilla and applesauce.
Stir the flours, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, oats, and raisins into the creamed mixture. Blend well.
Drop my teaspoonfuls onto lightly sprayed cookie sheets. Bake at 375-degrees for ten minutes, cool on a wire rack.
