Banana Oat Cookies

Banana puree in Banana Oat Cookies

These tasty and healthful Banana Oat Cookies turn out moist and sweet with the addition of banana puree or baby food. Orange juice adds a bit of citrus flavor, honey sweetens and oats add great nutrients.

Ingredients

2 jars baby banana puree or 1 cup mashed banana
1 tablespoon softened butter
1/3 cup orange juice
1/4 cup liquid egg substitute OR 1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 tablespoons honey
1 cup oats
1-1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/3 cup raisins
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions

Preheat over to 350 degrees.

Beat together the first 6 ingredients. Stir in dry ingredients.

Drop by tablespoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Nutrition Information

Recipe makes 1-1/2 dozen cookies.
