Yummy-for-the-Tummy Cookies include both healthful high fiber cereal and protein packed nuts.
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate bits
1 cup high fiber cereal (Raisin Bran, Cheerios, Fiber One, etc.)
1/2 cup toasted soy beans, peanuts, toasted almonds, walnuts or cashews
1/4 cup dried cranberries
1/4 cup golden raisins
Put chocolate morsels in microwave safe bowl.
Microwave one to three minutes, stirring once until melted.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Drop by teaspoon on wax paper or aluminum foil.
Let cookies cool and sit (covered) overnight.
Recipe makes 60 to 72 cookies.
