Fat Free Oatmeal Cookies Recipe
Healthy Cookie Recipe
Mix the following:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup applesauce
2 eggs whites
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup water
Then stir in:
1 cup whole-wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Add:
3 cups oatmeal
3/4 cup raisins
3/4 cup chopped dates (or 1-1/2 cups chopped dried fruit)
Pour into prepared pan and press to mold pan. Let sit about 24 hours in refrigerator. Cut into bars.
Drop by tablespoons onto cookie sheet sprayed with Pam. Flatten somewhat. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until browned.
