Stuffed Apple Crisps

These individual crisps are a fun twist on the fall classic dessert.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/3 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons butter, melted
4 large baking apples
1 cup cranberry-apple juice or apple juice

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine oats, brown sugar, flour and butter in a small bowl. Cut 1/2-inch slice from top of each apple. Using melon ball cutter, remove core and seeds from each apple, leaving bottom intact.

Place apples in a 9-inch square baking dish. Spoon oat mixture into center and on top of each apple. Pour cranberry-apple juice over apples.

Bake, basting with juice several times, until apples are tender when pierced with a fork, 50-60 minutes. To serve, place warm apples in dessert dishes; spoon juice on top. Serves 4
