Healthy Dressing Recipe

Ingredients:
1-1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons minced onion
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon minced fresh parsley
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Directions:
Process all ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides.

Cover and chill at least eight hours.

Serve over mixed salad greens or as a dip for chicken nuggets.

Recipe makes two cups dressing.

Bonus Recipe: Melon Spicy Dip Recipe

If you enjoy the above dressing, you may also enjoy this dip that also uses honey for sweetening with spices for adding zing.

Ingredients:
1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Two medium melons such as cantaloupe and honeydew melon, cubed

Directions:
Put cottage cheese, honey, cinnamon and nutmeg in blender or food processor; whirl until smooth. Serve with melon cubes. Recipe serves four.
