Ginger Salad Dressing

Ginger in Ginger Salad Dressing

This is a healthy Creamy Italian Dressing for green salads or pasta with low fat cottage cheese and wonderful flavor additions.


1/2 knob fresh ginger, grated
1/2 cup salad oil
1/2 cup rice vinegar
Salt, black pepper and sugar to taste
1 teaspoon light soy sauce for color
1/2 onion, minced
5 garlic cloves, crushed


Mix all ingredients well in a salad dressing shaker.

Refrigerate well before serving.

Recipe Notes

Ginger dressing tastes wonderful on salads. It is especially terrific on cabbage salads and can also be used as a marinade or even served warm over vegetables, chicken, or seafood.
