Healthier Salmon Party Log Recipe
Healthy Fish/Seafood Recipe
Ingredients:
1 (1-lb.) can salmon
8 ounces fat-free cream cheese
1 tablespoon. lemon juice
2 teaspoons grated onion
1 teaspoon horseradish
1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke
1/4 cup chopped pecans
3 tablespoons snipped parsley
Directions:
Combine the salmon, cream cheese, lemon juice, grated onion, horseradish and liquid smoke in a bowl, and blend until well-combined.
Place the salmon mixture on a piece of waxed paper and shape into a log, using the paper to help roll it. Roll in the combined parsley and pecans, and chill. Serve with crackers. Recipe makes 16 servings.
Each serving contains approximately: 65 calories, 3g fat, 17mg cholesterol, 233mg sodium, 1g carbohydrates, 8g protein and a trace of fiber.
