2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 cup white wine
3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
3/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon minced garlic White pepper to taste
4 5-ounce cod fillets
In small bowl, combine lemon juice, wine, oregano, cumin, paprika, garlic and pepper. Stir to mix.
Place cod in broiling dish and pour wine mixture over fish. Turn fish over so that both sides are coated. Cover and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
Place fish on broiling rack and broil for 5 to 6 minutes. Turn and broil cod for an additional 2 minutes. Serve hot.

Quick Cod Recipe: Spicy Cod Steaks
Heat broiler. Dust four (5 or 6-ounce) cod steaks with 1 teaspoon cumin and salt and black pepper to taste. Spread 2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard over cod. Dot with 1-tablespoon butter or margarine. Broil three to four minutes per side or until cod is opaque throughout. Serve with rice salad and sourdough bread.
