Three Bean Tuscan Tuna

Can of Tuna for Three Bean Tuscan Tuna

Three Bean Tuscan Tuna with lima beans, cranberry or cannelloni beans, green beans, onion, red wine (or balsamic vinaigrette), pepper and the star ingredient, solid pack white tuna.


Nonstick cooking spray
1 can (15 to 16 ounces) fava or lima beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (15 to 16 ounces) cranberry (Roman) beans or cannelloni beans, rinsed and drained
1 8-ounce can cut green beans, drained
1 medium red onion, diced (about 1-1/2 cups)
1/2 cup bottled Italian red wine or balsamic vinaigrette
Freshly ground black pepper
1 12-ounce can solid pack white tuna in water or oil, drained


In a mixing bowl, combine three beans and onion.

Stir in oranges and celery.

Add vinaigrette and toss to blend.

Add tuna and toss gently, but without breaking up pieces of tuna too much.
