Healthy Fruit Salad Recipe

Cool Whip now has a sugar-free sensation you can use in this recipe to drastically reduce sugar. Alternatively, Cool Whip also has a fat free variety which is very good as well as a creamy, delicious reduced fat variety. Some store brands offer reduced fat, as well. So you can customize this recipe in fat, sugar or both! And remember, Jell-o also comes in fat free and sugar free options.

Ingredients:
2 (8 ounce) containers Cool Whip
1 large box Jell-O, flavor of choice
Two (15 ounces) cans fruit cocktail
1 (20 ounce) can pineapple tidbits
One small bag crushed pecans
8 ounce miniature marshmallows
Optional: cherries, as many as desired

Directions:
Drain fruit cocktail and pineapple.

In a big bowl, mix fruit, pecans and marshmallows.

Pour in powdered Jell-O. Mix in Cool Whip.

Mix well.

Refrigerate overnight.
