Fruited Gelatin Salad

Grape Juice and grapes in Fruited Gelatin Salad

Fruited Gelatin Salad uses grape juice and gelatin with the additions of grapes, tangerines or oranges and lettuce leaves.

Ingredients

3 cups unsweetened grape juice (white or purple)
1 packet non-flavored gelatin
1-1/2 cup halved seedless black or red grapes
1 cup peeled and seeded tangerines or orange sections
1 cup halved seedless green grapes
Lettuce leaves

Directions

In a large saucepan, combine grape juice with gelatin; simmer gently, stirring frequently, until gelatin dissolves. Pour mixture into 12-by-9-inch glass baking dish or a comparably sized mold and let partially congeal in refrigerator.

Combine black grapes, tangerine sections and green grapes; mix into partially congealed gelatin. Let chill until completely set (1-1/4-hour).

To serve, cut into six equal portions and use a spatula to transfer slices to individual salad plates lined with lettuce leaves. For a mold, dip bottom of the mold into hot water for a few seconds. Turn out onto a lettuce-lined platter and serve.
