Simple, sweet and crunchy Semi Sweet Gorp with dry roasted peanuts, raisins and semi sweet chocolate chips.
We have three alternative recipes. If you don't care for nuts or have allergies, don't leave! Scroll down a bit for a super speedy alternative, Grab and Go Chocolate Cherry Trail Mix.
1 part dry roasted peanuts
1 part raisins
1 part semi-sweet chocolate chips
Note: You can choose the size of this recipe - go with 1/2 cup of each, or 1-pint of each - as much or as little as you wish or need!
Mix ingredients in a zipper-lock bag.
Gently stir or zip up and shake until ingredients are thoroughly mixed together.
Recipe makes 1-2 cup servings.
Bonus Recipe: Quick Gorp
1 part peanuts, cashews, or mixed nuts
1 part Raisinettes or M & M's
1 part corn nuts
1 part pretzel nuggets or sticks
1 part Reese's Pieces
1 part dried tropical fruit mix (optional)
Mix well and enjoy!
Bonus Recipe II: Super Quick Semi Sweet Gorp
1/2 cup lightly toasted almonds
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup dried apricots, chopped
Place everything in a small bowl and toss. Divide into 8 little bags.

Nut Free Grab and Go Chocolate Cherry Trail Mix
Toss together 1/2 cup whole grain O's cereal, 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips and 1 ounce dried cherries. Drink 1/2 cup fat free milk. Total calories: 429.
