Healthy Gorp Recipe
Papayas are very healthful! They are fat free, very low in sodium, cholesterol free, a good source of fiber, high in Vitamin C and a good source of folate. Papaya (Carica papaya) has long been enjoyed as a delicious food, but is also now recognized as a safe and natural digestive aid.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup banana chips
1/2 cup diced dried papaya
1/4 cup honey roasted peanuts
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
5 broken-up peanut butter granola bars
Directions:
Mix well in a zipper-lock bag.
Recipe yields 3 cups of Papaya Gorp.
