Slow Cooker Banana Ginger Jam

Jar of Slow Cooker Banana Ginger Jam

Bananas and ginger pair up in this scrumptious spiced jam made with ease using your crock pot. Allspice and cloves add a bit of extra nice yet subtle flavor.

Ingredients

6 ripe bananas
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons grated fresh ginger
Pinch allspice
Pinch cloves
1/4 cup unsalted butter
2/3 cup lemon or lime citrus juice

Directions

Slice the bananas into a 6 Quart Slow Cooker . Add the other ingredients and mix.

Note: You can use a potato masher if you like a smoother jam.

Cook at least six hours and spoon into jars.

Store your Banana Ginger Jam in the refrigerator.
