Sweet Onion Cheese Spread Recipe

Healthy Jam, Jelly or Spread Recipe

Ingredients:
3 large sweet onions, coarsely chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
2 tablespoons reduced fat margarine
2 cups (8 ounces) shredded low or non-fat cheddar cheese
1 cup light mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

In a large skillet, saute onions and garlic an butter until tender. Remove from the heat; stir in cheese, mayonnaise and hot pepper sauce.

Transfer to an un-greased 1-1/2 quart baking dish.

Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until lightly browned.

Yield about five cups.
