3 large sweet onions, coarsely chopped
1 minced garlic clove
2 tablespoons butter
2 cups shredded low or non-fat Cheddar cheese
1 cup reduced fat mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
In a large skillet, saute onions and garlic an butter until tender. Remove from the heat; stir in cheese, mayonnaise and hot pepper sauce.
Transfer to an un-greased 1-1/2 quart baking dish.
Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
Recipe makes 5 cups.
