This herbed mayonnaise makes a great sandwich spread or dipping sauce.
1/2 cup reduced or non-fat mayonnaise
1/2 cup light sour cream
1 tablespoon dried dillweed
2 tablespoons parsley
1 clove minced garlic
In a blender, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, dill, parsley, and garlic. Cover and blend until almost smooth.
Pour into jars with lids. Refrigerate.
Recipe makes 1-1/4 cup.
Bonus Recipe: Cheese and Olive Spread
1 package (8 ounces) finely shredded mild Cheddar cheese
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup each chopped stuffed green olives and green onions
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
Mix all ingredients and refrigerate. Serve with crackers of choice.
