Garlic and Herb Butter Spread Recipe
Healthy Jam, Jelly or Spread Recipe
Ingredients:
2 sticks butter
3 tablespoons fresh dill, minced
1-1/2 tablespoon fresh flat leaf parsley, minced
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
Combine ingredients at least one day ahead of service to allow flavors to blend.
Pat mixture in the shape of a log and wrap in plastic wrap; refrigerate.
Herb butter can also be scooped into individual ball servings. Butter spread can be frozen for up to 6 months.
Serve tableside with hot fresh bread and rolls, or soften at room temperature and brush mixture on hot pan rolls from the oven.
Recipe makes 47 butter pat size servings.
