Herbal Cheese Spread Recipe
Healthy Jam, Jelly or Spread Recipe
Ingredients:
8 ounces cream cheese (light), softened
2 teaspoons fresh dill, minced
2 tablespoons fresh chives, minced
1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced
Combine all ingredients in medium sized bowl and mix until well blended. Roll in crushed walnuts if desired. Cover with plastic and refrigerate for at least one hour.
Recipe makes 8 servings Herbal Cheese Spread.
One serving (1 pat) provides approximately: 63 calories, 3 g protein, 2 g carbohydrates, 1 g fiber, 4 g fat (3 g saturated), 13 mg cholesterol, 1 mcg folate, 0 mg iron, 136 mg sodium
