Healthy Pizza Recipe

Ingredients:
1 precooked Italian bread shell crust
2 cups (8 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1 jar (11 ounces) salsa
1 cup cubed cooked chicken breast, skin removed

Directions:
Place bread shell on an ungreased, 12-inch, pizza pan. Sprinkle with 3/4 cup of the cheese. Top with salsa, chicken and remaining cheese.

Bake at 450 degrees for eight to ten minutes or until cheese is bubbly.

Let rest one to two minutes before serving.

Bonus Budget Recipe: Pizza Turkey Burgers

When you can't decide on pizza or burgers for dinner, combine the flavors of two favorites in these tasty family pleasing turkey burgers.

Cooking Burgers Ingredients:
1 pound ground turkey
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground oregano
1/4 teaspoon black pepper, ground
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup pizza sauce or tomato sauce
1/3 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Lettuce or spinach (optional)
4 hamburger rolls

Directions:
Mix ground turkey and seasonings in medium bowl until well blended. Shape into 4 patties.

Grill over medium heat 4 to 6 minutes per side or until burgers are cooked through (internal temperature of 165 degrees). Add pizza sauce and cheese to burgers 1 minute before cooking is completed. Toast rolls on the grill, open-side down, about 30 seconds.

Serve burgers on toasted rolls topped with lettuce or spinach, if desired.

Tip: Try also with chicken (rotisserie is very good!) in either version.
