Herbed Jasmine Rice delicately seasoned with herbs make up this simple but healthy rice dish.
Jasmine rice is a fragrant rice. In Thailand, jasmine rice is referred to as "kao hohm mali" which means, "smelling like jasmine flower." The rice has a nutty flavor and a chewy texture.
Bring a medium size saucepan of salted water to a boil. Cook the rice until tender, stirring occasionally, for about 10 to 15 minutes. Drain.
Toss the rice with the olive oil and herbs and season with salt and pepper.
