1/2 cup chopped mild or sweet onion
2 cups diced mangoes or peaches
1-1/2 tablespoon minced, seeded serrano or other small chili
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
3 tablespoons tequila or orange juice or orange liqueur
1 tablespoon finely grated lime peel
2 tablespoons lime juice
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
Mix all ingredients together well.
Serve this tasty salsa nice and warm.
Serving suggestions: Use as a meat accompaniment or as a delicious topping for sweet potatoes.
