Fruit Sauce

Drain juice from pineapple into a saucepan. Peel the orange, remove membrane and cut sections into three pieces each. Core, peel and dice the apple into one-fourth-inch pieces.
Stir water; sugar and lemon juice into pineapple juice and bring to a boil. Add fruit (including pineapple) to boiling syrup.
Reduce heat and simmer for ten minutes until thickened. Recipe serves eight.
