These Tortilla Snack Strips are seasoned so tastefully, no one will know they are low in fat and reduced in calories.
2 tablespoons butter, melted
6 fat free flour tortillas (7 inches)
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion salt or onion powder
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper, optional
Brush butter over one side of each tortilla. Combine the seasonings; lightly sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon over each tortilla.
Make two stacks of tortillas, with three in each stack. Using a serrated knife cut each stack into nine thin strips. Place in an ungreased 15 X 10 X 1 inch baking pan.
Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm.
Recipe makes 18 strips.

Unlike store-bought, home baked tortilla chips aren't loaded with any fat or salt. For cutting, a clean scissors works quite well.
3 tortillas, cut into triangles
1-1/2 teaspoons olive oil
3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
3/4 teaspoon chili powder
3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place all the ingredients in a bowl and toss gently until the oil has coated most of the surfaces. Pile onto the baking sheet and cook until just beginning to color, about 10 minutes. Set aside to cool.
