Herbed Pasta Chips are a fun and tasty snack that is salty, cheesy, light and crunchy but not as firm and crunchy as uncooked pasta. These are similar to a snack that came out in the 1980s called Zeus Chips by Smartfood Popcorn.
4 ounces bow tie pasta , cooked and cooled
1-1/4 teaspoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place the pasta, oil, salt, basil and oregano in a bowl and toss well.
Pour the pasta on the prepared baking sheet and transfer to the oven. Bake until very lightly browned and slightly crisp, 8 to 12 minutes. Sprinkle with the cheese.
