The trick to these healthy Soy Pigs in a Blanket is to use soy breakfast links in refrigerated dinner roll dough! If desired, serve with condiments such as mustard, catsup or chili sauce.

Ingredients

1 package soy breakfast links
8 rolls refrigerated dinner roll dough

Note: Boca makes soy protein breakfast links that are quite popular. MorningStar Farms is another popular brand of sausage links made with soy. Their Veggie Breakfast Sausage Links contain 82 percent less fat than cooked pork sausage links.

Directions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Cook the breakfast links in a non-stick skillet or in the microwave according to package directions.

Roll dough for each roll to about 6 x 3-inch and slice in half the long way. Wrap each section of dough around 1 link. Put on a non-stick cookie sheet and bake for about 12 minutes, until dough is starting to brown.
