Ingredients: 48 ounces canned black beans, drained, juice reserved 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon ground cumin 2 teaspoons garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1/2 cup olive oil Directions: In a food processor, process beans until roughly chopped. Add bean juice to adjust consistency. Mixture should be slightly creamy and moist. Add remaining ingredients. Put in heavy- bottomed pot and bring to 165-degrees over low heat, stirring regularly to prevent sticking on bottom. Recipe makes about ten servings. |
